Dr. Bianca Toscano, ND, served six years in the United States Marine Corps as a linguist before going on to earn a Bachelor of Science from the University of Maryland and a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University.
Dr. Toscano has been in private practice since 2008, and in 2015 launched a consulting company to support practices and organizations in the areas of functional and lifestyle medicine. Her consulting work includes the development of the Regenokine Lifestyle Medicine Program at LifeSpan Medicine in Santa Monica, CA, serving as the Director of Lifestyle Medicine at the Institute for Restorative Health in Davis, CA, and also encompasses leading multiple teams to develop and deliver functional medicine programs to sectors of the Veterans Affairs and the Department of Defense.
Dr. Toscano currently runs a part-time private practice where she supports professional women in living brilliantly well—physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. Additionally, she holds the position as the Associate Director for Partnerships at the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM).
Dr. Toscano is a Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner (IFMCP), has completed the Duke University Leadership Program in Whole Health and Well-Being, and serves on various academic and veteran health boards. She lives in Northern California with her two children and enjoys hiking, paddleboarding, training for races, gardening, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
